introduction

Following the recent beep tests, some players will need to do some home training before the team pre-season starts in January. Conditioning training is important for your age group and the training you do over the Christmas break will make a big difference to how you perform over the next few months. You are at an age where this kind of training can make a big difference to your season so its important that you train and record your training. You will be tested again at end of January.

Remember that if you do another sport or activity such as swimming, tennis etc. then this can count as a session and should be logged in your training diaries. It is important that you try and be active five days a week.

Regardless of which group you are in, you should all do the circuit training CT1 from session 3 starting 1st Jan 2007. Do 3 minutes for the first week, then 4 minutes for the second week. You should do this twice a week and you can do this the same day as you do any other physical activity or session.
